A few minutes up the dune at the end of the main street, the lookout gives the best overview of the bay — the main beach, Paradise Beach and the reef beyond — and it is the town’s go-to spot to watch the sun set over the water.

Come a little early, bring something to sit on, and stay for the afterglow; it is an easy, free way to round out a day on the reef.
