Lakeside reef snorkel
📍 LakesideEasy sandy entry to a quiet sanctuary-zone reef, a short walk south along the beach.
A quieter alternative to Turquoise Bay, Lakeside has an easy sandy entry and good fish life over big bommies, with turtles and rays regular visitors. On a calm day it is a gentle snorkel — but currents can run here too, so assess the water before you get in.
Park at the Lakeside car park, walk to the beach, and head about 500 m south along the sand to the sanctuary-zone marker where the bommies sit offshore.
