Town Beach
Exmouth town swimming beach — and the famous Ningaloo whale shark gateway.
On the calmer eastern (gulf) side of the peninsula, Town Beach is the handy in-town swim and a good spot to watch the boats. It is sheltered and close to Exmouth’s cafes and shops.
Exmouth is the launching point for whale shark and manta ray tours out on the reef between roughly March and August.
