Bundegi has a dedicated Sanctuary Zone Kayak Trail that links snorkel moorings out over the gulf reef — a roughly four-hour return paddle-and-snorkel, best on a high tide when the reef has water over it.

It is a lovely, low-impact way to combine a paddle with reef snorkelling, launching straight off the sheltered beach.

How it works

Hire a sit-on-top kayak in town (with a PFD); ~4 hrs return to the moorings.
