Snorkel spot

Oyster Stacks

Some of the closest, most vivid coral on the whole coast — tide dependent.

The coral here crowds right up to the rocky entry, so on the right tide you are over vivid bommies within a few fin-kicks. It rewards a good snorkeller with density and colour that is hard to beat.

There is no sandy beach — you enter over rock among the namesake stacks — so it suits confident swimmers and is best near high tide.

Things to do here

  • coral
  • high tide only
  • cape range
